If you’ve ever looked at your Pixel phone and thought, “somebody should make a secret Pixel fans club where we get to wear capes and stuff,” good news! Google has such a club. It’s called Pixel SuperFan, where the cloak is optional. let’s take a closer look.

What is Pixel Superfan?

Pixel SuperFans is a private community of hardcore Pixel owners. These types of people tweet about the latest Pixel related news and post their thoughts and impressions about their own Pixel devices as a hobby. They have passion, and you can feel it in their content.

“We were inspired to create this event because we know many of you love Pixels as much as we do, and we wanted to create a space where we can get to know each other. ”

If you consider yourself a Pixel brand advocate and want to interact with other like-minded fans, consider trying out for membership. You can even get paid to promote Pixel about everything. But first, let’s see how to become a Pixel Superfan member.

How to become a Pixel Superfan member

As of March 2023, Pixel Superfans membership is only eligible for US residents. If you live in the United States and want to participate, visit the Pixel Superfans survey page. Fill in information such as your name, postal address, and birthday.

You’ll also need to fill in information like “what a perfect day in your life looks like,” your social handles, Google products you currently use, and more.

You have to mention whether you are a government servant or a member of press-checking, either of which disqualifies you from membership. You may also be disqualified for other reasons, from working at a public university to being related to a royal family. The survey page has all the details on who can join and who is not eligible.

Is it worth joining this community?

Joining comes with its perks. One of them is access to a private Superfan Facebook group for those who still haven’t left Facebook forever. You’ll also get access to exclusive in-person and virtual events like Q&A sessions featuring teams building devices that will keep fans drooling.

Members also get access to merch, swag and opportunities to try out upcoming products and features. That’s what happened in March 2023 when Pixel Superfans were among the first to try out Google’s experimental conversational AI, Bard. Members have the opportunity to voice their opinion on the current state of Pixel devices, what they would like to see in future devices, and more.

As a member, you may also be invited to join the Google Store referral program. Android Police reported in November 2022 that once you join the referral program, you can send a code to a friend in the market for hot deals on Pixel phones.

When they use the code on an eligible model at checkout (in November 2022, eligible devices were the Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro), you’ll both get $100 and exclusive Pixel Superfan swag! Pixel Superfans can do this up to 10 times, earning them a cool $1000.

Membership is always free. You can engage as little or as often as you’d like. If you’re invited to a live event, know that Google won’t pay for travel and other accommodations. It notes on the survey page that they will be clear if you are financially obligated to any perks or invitations.

Keep in mind that Google has a rule regarding posting about perks on social media. It states that you must use the hashtag #GiftsFromGoogle on every post and may have to mention your relationship with Google.

Pixel Superfan: The ultimate stain for superfans

Pixel Superfans get a chance to show off what’s to come by wearing a stylish “Pixel Superfan” baseball cap. Let the world know that you’ve riled up Google’s engineering and design teams and let them know what you really think about Pixel devices. You’re bound to impress someone.

If you’re the type of person who wears his favorite brands on his shirt sleeve and advocates them for fun, then Google wants you. And you want Google. Consider a Pixel Superfans membership and go—be among your people!
